Bane has just graduated from Mage school with three masteries. Air Elemental, Illusions, and Conjuring. He is in the top 1% of power on the planet Magis. Eighteen years old, Bane works at the prestigious Magis University cataloging reports from planetary law enforcement. Unambitious, Bane is content to remain hidden from the world as he dislikes the spotlight his power would bring should he wield it openly.

The Elvish Captain of the freighter Whiskee. June is in charge of the mission to Earth for the execution of the job to start a galactic war.

Cyad of the Whiskee. Better described as a cybernetic dryad, Katie is tied to the Whiskee. She is the ship's culinary master despite being more machine than organic.

One of the few elves hired by Her, Jack pilots the Whiskee through the various missions assigned and is exceptionally skilled with the freighter.

The only dwarf on the Whiskee crew, Fulman is incapable of retaining a solid memory of what's going on around him. There is rumor that he was damaged by Her, but he was never able to remember why he lost his ability to remember things in the short term.

Robiin is an unknown species that She hired for the Whiskee. Small and capable of reaching the hard spots within the freighter, Robiin is rarely seen outside of the engine room.

The only other mage within the organization, Her background is dangerous to know and those who discover her past rarely remain sane or alive to reveal her identity. Despite her mysterious past, She allows her ability as a time mage to be known within the organization while at the same time refusing rumors to spread outside the chain of command. A secondary and unknown power is an echolocation sense capable of reaching nearly three kilometers.

Mage, Sixteen years old. Destiny is the youngest in the Family Lous. The Lous family arrived on planet Magis in the second wave of colonists and has been attempting to marry into a founding family for the historical clout. Destiny began school after Bane and quickly discovered that she and Bane shared similar talents. A close schoolmate of Bane and one of his only solid friends, Destiny completed her elemental Mastery simultaneously with Bane over the Air. The Lous family is famous for their ability for conjuring and Destiny is not an exception, picking up quickly the skill as it came naturally to a Lous.
Personally, Destiny shuns her family's attempts to push her into a relationship with Bane. Her close friendship has put her in proximity to him and if asked, she would not deny her attraction to Bane.
